Join the Wine History Project in sunny Palm Desert for this food and wine experience. The event kicks off Friday with the James Beard Four Course Luncheon, featuring wines from Talley Vineyards and Justin Winery. Brian Talley and Justin Baldwin will join the luncheon and offer discussion on wines presented.

Then on Saturday and Sunday, join the Wine History Project for the Grand Tasting, featuring 14 wineries from San Luis Obispo County and historical exhibits and timeline of San Luis Obispo County’s wine history. We will be hosting the winemakers and vintners for two seminars during the Grand Tasting, which will cover the history, terroir, and wines from the Paso Robles and SLO Coast wine regions and will be moderated by Heather Muran, Historian for the Wine History Project.

Included in the Grand Tasting are the following brands: Ledge Wines, Onx Wines, Chronic Cellars, Epoch, Barr Estate, Villa Creek, Talley Vineyards, Tolosa, Cutruzzola Vineyards, Oceano Wines, Stephen Ross Wine Cellars, Saucelito Canyon, Laetitia Vineyard and Winery, and wines from the San Luis Obispo Coast Collective

The annual festival brings together some of the country’s celebrated chefs, extravagant food, and sublime wines from around the world in Palm Desert, a glamorous location in the stunning Southern California desert. The event features three days of stimulating culinary events including cooking demonstrations with the participating chefs; tastings from more than 40 acclaimed restaurants; wine tastings from over 60 stellar vintners and wineries along with lively instructional tastings with nationally-known sommeliers.

The 10th Annual Food + Wine Festival Palm Desert, taking place from 27th to 29th March 2020, will feature over 20 celebrity chefs and legendary restaurateurs, including Carla Hall, Elizabeth Falkner, and Curtis Stone.

Produced by Palm Springs Life magazine and located in the breathtaking tree-lined El Paseo shopping district in Palm Desert, California, this annual gastronomic event is the most celebrated cuisine and beverage festival in Greater Palm Springs and will feature a roster of the nation’s top chefs, vintners, and brewmasters, including Carla Hall, Elizabeth Falkner, and Curtis Stone. The fête begins with a James Beard Gourmet Four-Course Luncheon prepared by culinary virtuosos and will be followed by two days of grand tastings, where you can delight in delectable offerings from local and regional restaurants and sample more than 60 wines or enjoy unique craft brews, IPAs, and draught ciders.
