The Wine History Project is sponsoring the film Vas-Y-Coupe! (Wine Crush) in the SLO International Film Fest this week. It is the story of a loyal crew of laborers who travel from Northern France each year to harvest grapes at a small family-owned vineyard. It describes the gritty underbelly of the charmed romantic life o the Champagne region. It includes stunning scenery, endless wine, and hearty food but the story really focuses on the relationships between owners, workers, and family.
