Big news – a partnership between the Wine History Project and the Benito Dusi Historic Ranch and Vineyard. Sylvester is the patriarch of five generations of the Dusi family in Paso Robles and Templeton. Sylvester planted this historic Zinfandel vineyard 99 years ago and it is now one of the iconic heritage vineyards in San Luis Obispo County recognized by the Historic Vineyard Society (HVS) of California. Five generations have worked in this vineyard. Janell Dusi, fourth generation, established her own winery in the early 21st Century, which produces wines labeled with family history and legends.
