The Food History Project: Swiss-Italian Farming History with the Filipponi Family

The Food History Project will host an informative discussion with Herb Filipponi, owner of Filipponi Ranch Cellars.  Herb, the son of a Swiss-Italian immigrant, will share the history of the family-operated dairy in San Luis Obispo in 1938. The dairy was located just a quarter mile from the narrow gauge, Pacific Coast Railway that carried products from San Luis to Harford Pier in Avila Beach.

The Exhibit will be on display until June 2022.
